how do u 8-15psi forced induction guys pass inspec

For now, Alabama is a "Smog Test" free state... we don't have to pass an inspection.
Leaning out the fuel SLIGHTLY will help, and I have also heard of some fuel additives that reduce the emissions... do a search on this board and some of this info will turn up.

hmm, i'm from houston, tx and I know the laws aren't strict and everything, but I've never been to the inspection before so I"ll see how my laws compared to alabama's?

i am thinking of diabling the SC belt when it comes for smog check. i will find my freind to help me out since visual is much easier to pass.

Here in CA most people find a shady smog place and you usually pay about $150 to $200 and they put a different car on the dyno but use your VIN numbers. If you get sent to the SMOG referee by a police officer or BAR tech then your'e screwed, you have to put the car completely back to stock.

MUAHAHAHA....man smog sucks, do turbo cars generally fail automatically (aside from cali) like in NYC area you have a idle sniffer and then a cruising sniffer the getting up to cruising speed is what im worried about

Tom, depending on where you live in Houston. I live in SW area, right on the border of Houston/Fort Bend. If I go across the street to Harris county, then emission test is required for inspection, if I go to the shop on this side of the street, emission test?? what's that?

NY & CT are simular in their testing. In fact i will be going next week. I am not expecting any problems at all.
